SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
Our next session - WINTER 2019 (September 17-November 17) - will run for 9 weeks with a total of 9 classes. We will also offer three additional sessions throughout the year. In between our sessions, we will offer language and cultural workshops (à la carte) to allow our students reinforce their skills in specific areas or get ahead.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF A CLASS/WORKSHOP?
Each class lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes (100min), totaling 15 learning hours per session.

When you join us, you will be asked to take our carefully designed placement examination that accurately assesses your proficiency and guarantees that you will be placed in the right level of instruction. You will also receive a detailed syllabus and course curriculum for the entire session on the first day of class, giving you an additional opportunity to make that assessment.
WHAT IS THE CLASS TUITION?
We are able to offer you great courses at the competitive tuition of $299 which includes all material fees and membership.
WHEN CLASSES ARE HELD?
Our classes are held at convenient times, throughout the day to accommodate any schedule. We meet from Monday through Saturday as early as 10 a.m. and go as late as 9:30 p.m. Please, consult our class schedule for more detailed information, specific to the course of your interest.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE ENTIRE SESSION?
If you cannot attend all the classes in a session, you may take classes "à la carte" (some restrictions may apply for our specialized classes). Tuition is $45 per 1-hour-40-minute class. Depending on your needs, we may recommend in-between session workshops or private lessons as an alternative.
HOW MANY STUDENTS ARE IN EACH CLASS?
We limit the number of participants to 10 maximum in our regular and specialized classes, and 5 minimum to ensure that individual attention is given to each student.
WHAT IS THE LEARNING APPROACH?
We have created an innovative approach based on efficient principles: teaching French with a clear and simple method and an emphasis on oral skills in a fun, encouraging, and result-oriented environment, which permits you to reduce your inhibitions, build your confidence, and improve your speaking abilities.

No, teaching material is included in your registration fee and will be given to you on the first day of class. We do, however, recommend bringing a notebook and a dictionary to class.
WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS?
If you miss a class, you may take a make-up class of the same level at another time during the same week ONLY IF SEATS ARE AVAILABLE. Please notify our office first in order to receive permission to enter a make-up class. Make-up classes may only be taken in the same session (3 make-up classes maximum per session). You may also contact your instructor, who is always at your disposal, to request your assignment for the next class.
CAN I TRANSFER CLASSES?
If you think that you have been placed in a class that does not correspond to your needs, do not hesitate to speak to your instructor and submit your transfer request to our staff. No class transfers will be allowed after the second week of classes!
CAN MY CLASS BE CANCELLED?
Yes, unfortunately, we reserve the right to cancel a course or class due to insufficient enrollment. A minimum of 5 students is required to offer a particular course or class. In that case, tuition payments will be refunded in full or a full credit applied to the following session.
HOW CAN I ASSESS MY PROGRESSION?
At the conclusion of each level, you will receive a personal and final evaluation with detailed recommendations for the next course to take.
WHAT ARE THE OPERATING HOURS?
We are open Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 9:30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are closed on Sundays.
